The position is for an initial 3 months and we are considering candidates on both a limited company, day rate and fixed term contract basis. The role would suit a Financial Controller or Finance Director with experience in multi entity, multi country businesses, experience in the life sciences sector is desirable. The FC will be required on site for at least 3 days per week and will have the following responsibilities:Provide governance and oversight of the finance function, with roughly 6 direct reports, site level Financial Controllers and a wider team of approximately 23 doing.Oversee the financials across a multi-site, multi-entity portfolio spanning the UK and Ireland with group turnover of approximately £150M.Manage consolidation, pulling results from disparate systems into a single, coherent group format.Provide oversight of upcoming month-ends, quarter-ends and audits run locally at site level, but needing senior governance.Identify process improvements, synergies and efficiencies, and flag areas of concern.Provide technical oversight a...
