Interim Financial Controller

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join a well-established organisation in a key leadership role. Reporting as the senior finance lead on site, you will take ownership of financial operations while managing a small team and supporting an upcoming systems implementation.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee internal controls and financial processesManage inventory accounting, including cost updates, stock counts, and valuationsPerform balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare and manage cashflow forecasts and monthly reporting to support working capitalLead annual cashflow planning and forecastingProduce annual budgets and periodic reforecastsComplete monthly VAT returns and reconciliationsPrepare monthly management accountsSupport capital expenditure processes through reporting and analysisConduct sales and gross profit analysisLead and develop a small team Provide hands-on support across the finance function as requiredMaintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and complianceSkills and ExperienceFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience (QBE)Strong Excel and Microsoft Office capabilityProven ability to manage workloads independently and collaborativelyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesKey CompetenciesOwnership and accountability with a proactive approachStrong technical ..... full job details .....
