Interim - Financial Controller

Interim Financial Controller £400-£500 per day 3 Days Onsite Immediate Start 3-6 Months We are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a purpose-led organisation on a short-term basis, providing leadership across financial control, statutory reporting, audit and compliance. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day financial control and operations function. Manage balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow and financial accounting processes. Oversee year-end accounts preparation and external audit delivery. Ensure compliance with VAT, HMRC and regulatory requirements. Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls. Support and develop the finance team while partnering with stakeholders across the organisation. About You Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader. Strong technical accounting, audit and VAT knowledge. Experience managing finance teams within complex organisations. Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills. Charity, public sector or not-for-profit experience would be advantageous.
