Interim Financial Accountant

Rate: 400- 425 per day (Inside IR35)Location: London (Hybrid Working)Contract: 3-6 months, Full Time We''re seeking an interim Financial Accountant to join a well established finance team, supporting the delivery of high quality financial accounting, statutory reporting and financial controls across a diverse group of entities. Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team, you''ll help ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and the effective management of financial controls across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare statutory financial statements and supporting disclosures in line with IFRSSupport the delivery of annual audits and liaise with external auditorsEnsure accurate and timely month end reporting across multiple entitiesReview and approve balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations and key control accountsMaintain the fixed asset register and oversee depreciation accountingLead VAT returns, CIS submissions and other HMRC compliance requirementsSupport treasury activities including cash management, banking and loan complianceOversee supplier due diligence and financial governance processesProduce financial reports for senior management, committees and boardsDrive process improvements to strengthen financial controls and reporting efficiencyManage, coach and develop members of the finance teamCandidate RequirementsFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or ..... full job details .....
