Interim Financial Accountant3-6 Month Contract London Hybrid WorkingMLC Partners are working with a large, nationally recognised UK charity to recruit an Interim Financial Accountant for an initial 3-6 month role. This role will support the finance team during a busy period and focus heavily on fixed asset accounting and register management.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong systems and excel capability to join a complex organisation with a significant asset base.Key responsibilities:Maintaining and reviewing a large Fixed Asset Register (FAR)Supporting capitalisation, disposals and depreciation processesPerforming balance sheet reconciliations related to fixed assetsWorking closely with finance colleagues to ensure accuracy of asset reportingSupporting month-end and financial reporting activitiesUtilising Agresso (Unit4) to manage financial data and reportingUsing advanced Excel to analyse, reconcile and manipulate large datasetsKey skillset:A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Proven experience managing or working with large Fixed Asset RegistersStrong Agresso / Unit4 system experienceAdvanced Excel skills with the ability to work with complex financial dataThe ability to work independently in an interim environmentThis role offers the opportunity to join a well-established organisation with an important social mission, working within a collaborative finance team.To find out more, please apply or ..... full job details .....
