Interim Financial Accountant

The Interim Financial Accountant will play a key role in managing financial reporting and ensuring compliance within the business. Based in Hedge End, this temporary role supports the day-to-day financial operations, helping the business stay on track with its financial goals. Due to a secondment, the business requires an additional pair of hands to look after the position for approximately 9-12 months. Description As the Interim Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for: Prepare and review financial statements in line with regulatory requirements. Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end reporting. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and identify discrepancies. Support the audit process by providing required documentation and responses. Analyse financial data to assist in decision-making processes. Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and relevant standards. Provide ad hoc financial support as needed by the business.
