Interim Financial Accountant

Your new company Hays are pleased to be partnering with a local Wolverhampton-based manufacturing business who are looking for some interim support within their finance team. Your new role Working in partnership with the Financial Controller, this role provides technical accounting expertise across statutory reporting, audit, taxation, treasury and internal controls. It serves as a key liaison for external auditors and collaborates closely with Finance colleagues to enhance reporting accuracy, strengthen financial controls, and drive continuous improvement as the business grows.Duties include:Assist in the production of monthly management accounts and statutory reporting for Group entities, ensuring all submissions are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with Group reporting standards.Act as the key contact for external auditors, managing information requests and coordinating deliverables to support the successful completion of interim and year-end audits.Enhance the finance control framework through the identification of risks and process inefficiencies, implementing improvements to strengthen governance, controls, and financial systems.Experience of transfer pricing Maintain fixed asset registers and lease accounting records, ensuring compliance with Group policies and relevant accounting regulations.Coordinate the reporting of RandD expenditure and manage the annual RandD tax relief claim process, liaising with both internal stakeholders and external advisors. ..... full job details .....
