Interim Financial Accountant

Your new company This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys both the technical aspects of accounting and the opportunity to influence process improvement, reporting development and business performance.Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in ensuring robust financial control while supporting the ongoing evolution of the finance function across a growing group of businesses.Your new role Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting financial reporting packs.Post and review journals, balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns.Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.Reconcile intercompany balances and support multi-entity accounting requirements.Review suspense accounts and maintain a clear and accurate audit trail.Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, improve efficiencies and support automation initiatives.Work collaboratively with operational teams to develop a strong understanding of business performance drivers.Produce meaningful financial information and insights to support management decision-making.Support ongoing finance transformation and business integration projects.Partner with senior stakeholders across the wider organisation.What you''ll need to succeed ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or part-qualified with relevant industry experience.2-5 years'' experience within an accounting or finance environment.Experience preparing management accounts and financial ..... full job details .....
