Interim Financial Accountant

Interim Financial Accountant 6-Month Contract Hybrid (1 day from home, Chesterfield) Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be working with a growing finance team to recruit a fully qualified ACA or ACCA Financial Accountant on an interim basis. This is a hands-on role offering exposure to financial reporting and accounting processes within a complex, service-based environment. Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting under IFRS and supporting the wider finance function. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements in line with IFRS Technical accounting support, including interpretation and application of IFRS standards Balance sheet reviews and reconciliations Supporting audits and acting as a key contact for external auditors Assisting with improvements to financial controls, processes, and reporting Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and support to senior stakeholders About You: Fully qualified ACA or ACCA Strong working knowledge of IFRS, ideally gained in audit or financial reporting within practice Experience working with larger or complex organisations is advantageous Strong attention to detail with a proactive and inquisitive mindset Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with non-finance stakeholders Why Apply: Interim role with immediate start, perfect for someone looking for a 6-month contract Opportunity to apply IFRS ..... full job details .....
