Financial Accountant (6 Month Contract)Location: Nottingham (Hybrid)Salary: £50,000-£60,000 A leading organisation based in Nottingham is seeking a Financial Accountant to support business-as-usual finance operations during a period of system transformation. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join a collaborative finance team on a 6 month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension.Key Responsibilities:Perform reconciliations to support monthly and quarterly financial reportingManage quarter-end reporting processes for both UK and US entitiesWork with large volumes of data, primarily using ExcelSupport the implementation of a new finance system where capacity allowsKey Requirements:Strong Excel skills, confident handling formulas and large datasetsSolid experience with reconciliations and general ledger processesExperience with Oracle or similar ERP systems is advantageousBackground in a complex finance environment (e.g., regulated or multi-entity)Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) preferred, though not essentialAdditional Information:Hybrid working modeGenerous holiday allowance, including additional company-recognised leave days If you''re a hands-on accountant looking for a dynamic contract role in a supportive team environment, we''d love to hear from you.
