Interim Finance Manager - Theatre

A leading theatre and production company is looking for an experienced Production Finance Manager to join their production finance team during a period of change and development. This is a varied role combining day-to-day financial oversight with process improvement, systems and controls, and the opportunity to make a real impact across the wider production finance function.Responsibilities:Document and develop a strong understanding of existing finance processes and systems across royalties, investor management, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial accountingIdentify opportunities for process improvements and make recommendations to improve efficiency and controlsLead and deliver process improvement projects across the finance functionMaintain and oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and appropriate supporting documentationOversee company management and associated financial processesReview and approve payments in line with internal controlsSupport the wider production finance team with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as requiredWork closely with internal stakeholders to ensure processes are well understood, documented and consistently followedRequirements:Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)Ideally previous experience within theatre, live entertainment, production or a similar creative industry environmentStrong understanding of financial processes, controls and accounting principlesGood knowledge of UK tax compliance and accounting ..... full job details .....
