Interim Finance Manager

We''re supporting a not-for-profit organisation in the North East with the recruitment of an Interim Finance Manager for an initial six-month assignment. The priority is to bring in someone who can quickly take ownership of the day-to-day finance function, support the CFO and rebuild a strong Finance presence across the organisation. Key responsibilities include: Producing monthly management accounts and financial reporting Working closely with budget holders to improve forecasting and control of spend Leading the annual budget process Reviewing reconciliations, controls and key balance sheet areas Overseeing rent accounting, service charges, payroll, creditors and debtors Managing and supporting two experienced transactional finance staff Providing financial analysis, cashflow forecasting and wider support to senior stakeholders The big sell is the opportunity to become the visible face of Finance in a close-knit organisation.
