Interim Finance Manager

Your New Company Hays are partnering with a well-established charitable organisation in Bristol to recruit an experienced Finance Manager on an initial contract of at least 6 months. Operating within a complex and evolving environment, the organisation manages annual income and expenditure of approximately £1.4 million across multiple funding streams and serves a wide range of community-focused initiatives. Your New Role As Finance Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective financial management of the organisation, providing both strategic oversight and hands-on financial leadership. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure robust financial controls, accurate reporting, effective budgeting and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities will include: Overseeing all day-to-day financial operations. Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior stakeholders. Monitoring income and expenditure against budget, identifying risks and opportunities. Managing cash flow and supporting long-term financial planning. Preparing year-end accounts and acting as the key contact for auditors or independent examiners. Maintaining strong financial controls, governance frameworks and risk management processes.
