Interim Finance Director

An established charity in the Havant, Hampshire area is seeking an Interim Finance Director/Head of Finance for a period of c3 months to cover sickness. This role will report to the Board and work either 3-5 days per week, supporting the small finance team and supporting leadership decisions. What will the Interim Finance Director role involve? Assisting with all aspects of financial planning, budgeting management accounts and annual reporting processesSupporting the preparation of all financial and statutory returns including HMRC requirements and charity SORP and management of the external audit process and other professional consultancy relationshipsProvision of regular financial reporting and forecasting to support operational management in addition to working closely with departmental budget holders to ensure robust financial controls Suitable Candidate for the Interim Finance Director vacancy: Applicants for this role will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with a proven hands on track record in financial management, budget setting and statutory reportingStrong organisational, analytical and communication skills will be essential to undertake the role successfullyPrevious experience of working within a charitable or not-for-profit environment would be beneficial but not essentialAvailable to start on short notice before the end of August/early September Additional benefits and information for the role of Interim Finance Director: The role will be for a ..... full job details .....
