Interim Finance Assistant Location: Harrogate, HG2Duration: Up to 3 monthsHours: Full-time, 35 hours per weekWorking pattern: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the officeParking: On-site parking availableRate: £20 - £24 an hour umbrella About the role Robertson Bell are currently supporting a well-established and purpose-driven organisation in the appointment of an Interim Finance Assistant for an initial period of up to three months. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant to join a supportive finance team and provide additional resource during a busy period, helping to clear a backlog and maintain the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations. Key responsibilities Reconcile income and donations between the organisation''s CRM and finance system. Complete high-volume petty cash reconciliations across approximately 25 retail locations. Provide support with Accounts Payable, processing approximately 600 invoices per month. Assist with banking activities, including deposits and related reconciliations. Investigate and resolve discrepancies accurately and efficiently. Help clear existing finance backlogs and ensure records are maintained accurately. Provide wider transactional finance support to the team as required. About you We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Finance Assistant who can quickly get to grips with new processes and systems.
