Interim Finance Assistant
27,000 - 30,000 per annumMonday and Friday working from home Role OverviewThe Bookkeeper willplay a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting theday-to-day finance operations of the business. You will ensure the smoothrunning of transactional finance processes and contribute to the overallfinancial health of the organisation. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate financial records including sales ledger, purchase ledger, and general ledgerProcess accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collectionPerform regular bank and balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with month-end processes, including preparation of journals and accrualsSupport payroll processing and related reconciliationsManage expense processing and employee claimsPrepare financial reports and assist with management accountsMaintain and improve financial controls and proceduresLiaise with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve queriesSupport year-end audit preparation where required Key RequirementsPrevious experience in a Bookkeeping or similar finance roleStrong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage or QuickBooks)Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principlesExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to manage workload effectively and meet deadlinesStrong communication skills and a collaborative approachIntermediate Excel skills Desirable Skills and ExperienceAAT qualified or studying ..... full job details .....
