Interim Facilities Manager

Lincoln Cathedral has stood as a symbol of faith, craftsmanship and human endeavour for over 950 years. A living place of worship and the seat of the Bishop of Lincoln, the Cathedral remains a place of pilgrimage, prayer and welcome for people of all faiths and none. As one of the nation''s most important heritage sites and a major visitor destination, the Cathedral welcomes hundreds of thousands of people each year. Stewardship of this remarkable estate (which includes the Cathedral Church, Visitor Centre and more than 80 historic buildings) requires exceptional operational oversight to ensure buildings remain safe, compliant and welcoming every day. To provide continuity and leadership following the departure of the current postholder, the Cathedral is seeking an experienced and pragmatic Interim Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and strengthen systems across the estate. Interim Facilities Manager Location: Lincoln Cathedral (on-site) Salary: £41,000 - £46,000 per annum, depending on experience Contract: 9-month fixed-term, full-time (38.75 hours per week) Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO) About the role The Interim Facilities Manager will ensure the safe, compliant and efficient running of the Cathedral''s estate, including the Cathedral Church, Visitor Centre and associated buildings.
