Interim Engineer Manager

£450 PER DAY I''m currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Engineering Manager to join Doncaster Sheffield Airport on an initial 6-month contract. The Opportunity Client: Doncaster Sheffield Airport Contract: Initial 6 months Rate: £450 + PER DAY Working Pattern: Site-based. Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of 8 engineers across multiple shift patterns.- Ensure the safe and effective maintenance of critical electrical and mechanical assets.- Provide technical leadership within a live operational environment where reliability and service continuity are essential.- Support reactive maintenance activities and participate in an out-of-hours on-call escalation process.- Work closely with operational and asset management teams to drive performance, compliance and continuous improvement. Essential Experience- Strong electrical engineering background with supporting mechanical knowledge.- Experience working with high-voltage systems and exposure to substation environments.- Excellent understanding of electrical systems, safety procedures and operational processes.- Previous engineering management or team leadership experience.- Experience within complex, operational or safety-critical environments.
