      <description>Location: Shropshire | Salary: &amp;pound;900 - &amp;pound;975/day | Type: Temporary | Interim Director of Adult Social Services    We  are currently supporting a  Local Authority  in  Shropshire  with the appointment of an experienced  Interim Director of Adult Social Services  on an initial six-month contract.  This is a senior strategic leadership position, responsible for providing direction across Adult Social Care and ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality, person-centred services while driving transformation, improvement and strong partnership working.   Key responsibilities:    Provide strategic leadership across Adult Social Care and lead the Council''s transformation and improvement agenda.  Oversee a broad portfolio including Adult Safeguarding, DoLS, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Social Work, Hospital Interface, Reablement, Day Services, Internal Provider Services and Quality Assurance.  Ensure the service meets its statutory responsibilities and complies with the Care Act 2014 and wider regulatory requirements.  Lead service improvement, innovation and preventative approaches to support independence and positive outcomes.
