Interim Curriculum Manager
The Interim Curriculum Manager will provide leadership and operational management of English and Maths provision across both 16-18 study programmes and adult learning programmes. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across GCSE and Functional Skills qualifications, whilst maintaining compliance with funding regulations and condition of funding requirements. The role will involve curriculum planning, staff management, performance monitoring, timetabling and driving continuous improvement to maximise learner outcomes, attendance and achievement. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage English and Maths curriculum provision across GCSE and Functional Skills programmes. Develop, implement and monitor curriculum plans that meet learner, employer and organisational requirements. Ensure curriculum delivery is planned efficiently and effectively to maximise learner success. Monitor and analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate interventions. Drive improvements in learner retention, attendance, achievement and progression. Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment across all English and Maths provision. Conduct lesson observations, learning walks and performance reviews where required. Support and develop teaching staff through coaching, mentoring and performance management. Monitor learner achievement and implement strategies to improve outcomes.
