Are you an experienced compliance professional ready to take on a high-impact interim role?

We''re seeking a Compliance Manager to lead on all areas of statutory compliance across a diverse housing portfolio. This is an opportunity to shape compliance strategy, manage key risk areas, and ensure residents and stakeholders have safe homes and environments.
 
The role will include:

• Overseeing compliance programmes across fire, gas, electrical, asbestos, legionella, lifts, and mechanical systems
• Leading a small compliance team and managing specialist contractors
• Developing assurance reports for senior leadership and driving continuous improvement
• Managing budgets of £3.5m+ and ensuring full value for money
• Delivering audits, inspections, and robust contractor performance monitoring
• Supporting organisational resilience through risk management and incident planning

 
We''re looking for someone with:

• Strong background in housing, local authority, or facilities management compliance
• Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary compliance programmes
• Knowledge of building safety legislation (Fire Safety Order 2005, etc.)
• A collaborative approach, able to influence at senior level and build confidence across the organisation

 
This is a dynamic, fast-paced contract - perfect for someone who thrives on responsibility and wants to make a tangible difference.
 
Day rate: £400-£500 (depending on experience)
Location: Hybrid - flexibility required for site and office visits
