Interim Commercial Manager

Description

• Lead end-to-end procurement activity from strategy through to contract award
• Develop procurement strategies and routes to market
• Manage tender processes, evaluations and supplier negotiations
• Draft procurement documentation, governance papers and contract schedules
• Provide commercial advice to business stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and governance requirements
• Build and manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Support high-value and strategically important procurement programmes

Profile

A successful Interim Commercial Manager should have:

• Strong public sector procurement experience
• Proven end-to-end procurement and sourcing expertise
• Experience managing complex tenders and stakeholder groups
• Excellent commercial, negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of procurement governance and approval processes
• Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities

Job Offer

• Temporary Interim Commercial Manager contract.
• Daily rate of -530 per day, dependent on the level of experience.
• Location: London (in and around London) with 2/3 days on-site.
