Interim Assistant Director, Education Strategy, Access and I

The role will involve: Providing strategic leadership across education strategy, pupil place planning, school sufficiency and access arrangements across the borough. Leading SEND, Inclusion, Educational Psychology, Outreach Services, Virtual School, Admissions and Vulnerable Pupils Services to ensure high quality outcomes for children and young people. Driving improvements in inclusion, attendance and exclusion reduction through effective partnership working with schools, health partners and wider stakeholders. Leading preparation for Ofsted, CQC and other regulatory inspections, implementing improvement plans and ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities. Managing significant budgets, service performance and workforce development whilst delivering service transformation and continuous improvement. Acting as a key senior leader within Education and Learning, providing advice to elected members, presenting reports and contributing to wider Childrens Services strategy.
