Interim Assistant Accountant (6-9 month FTC)

HW Finance are supporting a global business with a temp to perm opportunity in their Finance team. The role will be an initial 6-9 month fixed term contract with genuine opportunity to become permanent. The business operate within manufacturing and supply chain, serving multiple markets such as industrial, marine, defence and pharma amongst others. Working within a small team you will:Assist the Management Accountant with month-end close tasks and preparation of monthly management accountsSupport cash management activities and maintain oversight of cash positionsManage and maintain the fixed asset registerPerform bank reconciliations on a regular basisPrepare and submit VAT returnsHandle intercompany recharges and ensure intercompany entities remain in balanceSupport external reporting requirementsCollaborate with Shared Service Centre teams in Europe to resolve complex finance queriesProvide general finance administration support in the UKSalary c£28-32k + benefits including generous company pension, health cash plans and future study support.
