Role Overview The Talent Set are delighted to partner with The Fountain Centre, an independent charity supporting cancer patients and their loved ones from diagnosis and beyond. Based within the Royal Surrey Cancer Centre, the fourth-largest cancer centre in the UK, they provide vital emotional and wellbeing support, information and signposting. They work alongside their charity partners to ensure people affected by cancer have access to the practical and emotional support they need, when they need it. They are now embarking on an exciting new phase of development. Following a strategic review, they are building a broader, more sustainable income base, and they are looking for an exceptional fundraising professional to lead the first stage of that journey. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with organisational goals. Work independently, balancing strategic planning and hands-on delivery, ensuring successful programme growth. Build a high-value prospect pipeline, sourcing potential donors and securing funding from trusts, corporates, and major donors. Cultivate and manage relationships with existing and prospective supporters, ensuring ongoing engagement. Lead the creation of compelling case for support, including stories and impactful messaging, to inspire giving.
