Interim Accountant

Interim Accountant (6-9 Months Contract)Newbury (5 days onsite)£350-£450 per day (Outside IR35)We are working with a fast-growing SME in Newbury that has recently secured private equity backing and is entering an exciting phase of transformation and growth.As part of this journey, they are seeking an experienced Interim Accountant to support the CFO on a range of high-impact projects over the next 6-9 months. The Role This is a hands-on, commercially focused role where you will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team. Key responsibilities include:Supporting the restatement of historical accounts under FRS102, with a focus on revenue recognitionAssisting with a major ERP implementation projectProviding broader project support across finance transformation initiativesEnsuring accuracy, compliance, and improved financial reporting processesActing as a key point of contact for technical accounting matters About You Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)Strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly FRS102 and revenue recognitionProven experience in project-based roles within SME or PE-backed environmentsExperience supporting or leading ERP implementationsHands-on, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentAvailable immediately or at short notice What''s on Offer Day rate of £350-£450 (Outside IR35)Opportunity to work directly with a high-calibre CFOExposure to a PE-backed growth environmentImmediate start with a 6-9 month ..... full job details .....
