The successful candidate will provide financial support across a range of Place services, working closely with budget holders and senior stakeholders to support effective financial management and forecasting. Key requirements: Strong previous local authority accounting experience Good understanding of a Place Directorate environment Experience supporting areas such as regeneration, property, planning, highways, transport, environment or waste Strong budget monitoring, forecasting and management accounting experience Ability to provide clear financial advice to non-finance stakeholders Experience working in a fast-paced local government finance team This role would suit an experienced local government accountant who can quickly get up to speed and provide effective financial support across a complex directorate.
