Interim Accountant

Grafton Banks Finance are working with a global commercial business with offices in Littlehampton, West Sussex to recruit an Interim Accountant on a 6-month interim contract to support the business with the month end financial and management accounting. Reporting into the Group Finance Director and working within a friendly finance team this interim job opportunity is working in office Monday - Friday with some flexibility.Duties and Responsibilities will include:Management accountingAssisting in compiling annual budgets and building financial forecasts.Comparing actual financial results against budgeted targets to identify overspends or unexpected shortfalls.Cashflow projections - monitoring working capitalKPI Tracking - measuring the business performance and aid strategic decision makingFinancial AccountingRecording transactions and producing finalised statements for both internal and external stakeholdersStatutory ReportingPreparing year-end financial statementsTax compliance - including preparing and filing corporate taxes VAT and returnsAudit SupportThis is a contract role for a period of 6 months.
