Intelligent Purchasing Assistant

Good Afternoon,

I am currently representing-Wokingham-Council,-who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of-6 months-with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a-rate-which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a-Intelligent Purchasing Assistant-this role will be:-RG401WH 6 months 1 day office based

• To receive and check referral documentation in accordance with requirements of CQC for providers.
• To contact home care providers, check availability, negotiate and place new care packages as required by referral, linking with the referral team and service user where appropriate.
• To input information on electronic systems/spreadsheets (customer information / details / events). Information must be accurate and timely to ensure that records can be recalled and used for reference and statistical purposes as and when required.
• To visit customers with IP Officer, if appropriate and to assist in the solving of complaints. To record complaints / commendations for monitoring purposes. Liaising with IP Officer and agreeing action to be taken
• To maximise the Framework and current Block contracts that the Council has in place to ensure compliance and value for money. To maximise usage and monitor arrangements along with the social worker or health professional.

We require the following:

• Some knowledge of CQC compliance and Standards of Quality and Safety
• Experience in a delivering Home Care support package
