Are you passionate about supporting public services and enhancing community safety? Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Intelligence Processing and Coordination Officer to join their Sensitive Intelligence Unit. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in combating organised crime and county lines operations!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct research on crime and intelligence using various databases, including the Police National Computer.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with other intelligence units, police officers, and external agencies to support organised crime and county lines processes.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update the APMIS, OCG, and County Lines databases to ensure accurate and effective data management.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organise and coordinate Multi Agency Intelligence Network meetings, including the preparation of agendas and minutes.
  • Performance Reporting: Collate and review performance data related to organised crime groups (OCGs) and county lines for strategic development.

What We''re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration (Desirable).

Experience:

  • Proven experience in dealing with the public and liaising with external agencies (Essential).
  • Experience maintaining and updating computer records (Essential).
  • Familiarity with APMIS databases and OCG processes (Desirable).

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written (Essential).
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities (Essential).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications (Essential).


Knowledge:

  • Understanding of local geographic areas and relevant legislation, including the Data Protection Act (Desirable).

  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work (Essential).
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions (Essential).
