The successful candidate will support the management of the Council''s insurance portfolio and provide an effective insurance service across the Council and its partner organisations.Key Responsibilities Set up and submit routine insurance claims to external insurers.Process claims covering motor, public liability, employers'' liability and property insurance.Negotiate property and liability claims within agreed handling arrangements.Assist with investigating claims, including those managed through internal resources.Liaise with insurers, solicitors, loss adjusters and internal teams.Prepare reports, returns and supporting evidence for insurers and courts.Respond to correspondence, telephone calls and enquiries.Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and Council policies.
