Interim Insurance Manager 500 per day (flexible) 4 Month Contract with Possible Extension Hybrid/RemoteWe are seeking an experienced Interim Insurance Manager to join a busy Local Government organisation on an initial 4 month contract, with the potential for extension.This is primarily a hybrid/ remote role, although the successful candidate will be required to attend the office initially to collect IT equipment and attend occasional meetings as required. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the organisation''s insurance function within a fast paced environment.Provide managerial and supervisory oversight to the insurance team.Support procurement and insurance related activities, ensuring compliance with Local Government regulations.Participate in the evaluation of insurance tenders and procurement exercises.Manage insurance placements and renewals, working closely with brokers and insurers.Deliver excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external partners.Provide strategic insurance advice and support across the organisation.About YouStrong insurance management experience, ideally gained within Local Government, Public Sector, or organisations dealing with public authority risks.Experience of insurance procurement and tender evaluation processes.Proven managerial and supervisory experience.Strong underwriting knowledge, particularly around insurance placements, programme design, and procurement activities rather than claims management.Ability to work ..... full job details .....
