• Salary: -35,000 - -50,000 Basic DOE + Uncapped Commission
• Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an Insurance Broker to join a successful commercial insurance team, focusing on new business development while also managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and relationship-focused individual who enjoys building client relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering first-class insurance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and convert new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and inbound enquiries.
• Build and develop strong relationships with commercial clients across a range of sectors.
• Conduct client fact-finds and risk assessments to fully understand insurance requirements.
• Provide expert advice and tailored insurance solutions across a broad range of commercial insurance products.
• Prepare and present competitive quotations and recommendations.
• Negotiate premiums and policy terms with insurers to secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
• Manage policy renewals and support the retention and growth of an existing client portfolio.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell additional products and services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience within an insurance brokerage or commercial insurance environment.
• A proven track record of winning and developing new business.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing customer relationships and delivering excellent service.
• Good knowledge of FCA regulations and Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• A motivated, target-driven approach with a genuine passion for the insurance industry.
