Insulator / Sheet Metal Worker

We''re looking for experienced Industrial Insulators / Sheet Metal Workers to join a major industrial project in Oldhall, Irvine, on an immediate-start basis expected to run until approximately the end of the year.

This role pays -4042 per hour, installing and maintaining insulation systems on industrial equipment and carrying out sheet metal work to protect and secure insulation to a high standard.

Responsibilities and duties of the Industrial Insulator / Sheet Metal Worker role

You will be responsible for:

• Installing and repairing insulation on industrial pipework, vessels, tanks and boilers
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Fabricating and installing sheet metal cladding to protect insulation
• Carrying out quality checks and rectifying any defects where required
• Working safely and efficiently as part of the site team

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Valid TICA card (essential)

Personal skills and prior experience

The Industrial Insulator / Sheet Metal Worker role would suit someone who has:

• Previous experience as an Industrial Insulator / Sheet Metal Worker
• Good knowledge of industrial insulation materials and installation methods
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and a positive team attitude
