Instrumentation Technician
Wolviston Management Services are recruiting for an experienced Instrumentation Technician to support operations at a large-scale industrial manufacturing facility This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing maintenance team responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of process control and instrumentation systems within a complex industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of instrumentation and control systems Inspect, fault-find, calibrate and repair field instruments including: Pressure, temperature, flow and level transmitters Control valves and actuators Analytical instrumentation Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance of plant equipment Interpret engineering drawings, PandIDs, and technical documentation Work closely with operations and engineering teams to minimise downtime and optimise plant performance Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with site safety standards and procedures Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports using CMMS systems Participate in shutdowns, outages and project work as required Required Experience and Qualifications Proven experience as an Instrumentation Technician within a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or process environment Recognised apprenticeship or relevant technical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 / HNC in Instrumentation, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or similar) Strong ..... full job details .....
