Your new company A highly innovative, deep-tech engineering business at the forefront of advanced measurement systems is seeking an Instrument Engineer to support the development of its next-generation technology. Backed by leading industrial partners across the aerospace and clean energy sectors, the company offers a collaborative environment focused on cutting-edge product development and continuous innovation.Your new role As an Instrument Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development and build of complex measurement systems. This is a hands-on position offering exposure across hardware integration, system testing, and early-stage production.Key responsibilities will include:Supporting the design, build, and integration of hardware systems, including sensors and electronic componentsAssisting with mechanical design work using CAD toolsSetting up and running test rigs to evaluate system performanceTroubleshooting technical issues and analysing test data to drive improvementsSupporting early production builds and liaising with external suppliersContributing to documentation of engineering designs, processes, and test proceduresCollaborating with cross-functional teams including software engineers and physicistsWhat you''ll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:A degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics or a similar disciplineSome hands-on engineering experience (e.g. internships, placements, ..... full job details .....
