Instrumentation and Controls EngineerJob Title: Instrumentation and Controls EngineerLocation: Yeadon, LeedsSalary: Up to £40,000Shift: Monday - Friday, DaysHours: 38 hours per weekSector: ManufacturingJob Role of the Instrumentation and Controls EngineerA fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing facility in Yeadon, Leeds.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their career within a busy manufacturing environment, working on a range of instrumentation, control systems and measurement equipment.You will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, fault-finding and optimisation of instrumentation and control systems, helping to ensure the reliability, accuracy and efficiency of the manufacturing process.The role will involve a mixture of planned maintenance, calibration, reactive fault-finding and continuous improvement, with the opportunity to contribute to wider Lean Manufacturing, TPM and operational excellence initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out calibration, maintenance, inspection and repair of instrumentation and control systems.Complete planned preventative maintenance and scheduled calibration activities.Carry out reactive maintenance and fault-finding to minimise production downtime.Investigate recurring instrumentation and equipment failures and implement corrective actions.Maintain accurate calibration records, certificates and ..... full job details .....
