Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Instrument Technician with CompEx 1-4 certification to join our client''s team for a Shutdown on a Power Station near Bristol. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing instrumentation systems within our facilities, ensuring safety and operational excellence. Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation equipment, including sensors, transmitters, and control systems. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Read and interpret complex schematics and wiring diagrams to diagnose system faults efficiently. Perform preventative maintenance on programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation devices to minimize downtime.
