Instrument/ Electrical technician – ClitheroeContract: 12 monthRate: £24 ph – PAYEResponsibilities
Respond to plant breakdowns as required to diagnose and resolve faults of an instrumentation or electrical nature.Ensure all maintenance activities are entered into the CMMS system, with job records completed in a timely manner and updating information as required (e.g., spares holding).Provide support to the Maintenance team leader in delivering an effective maintenance function.Perform routine preventative maintenance, as per the CMMS schedule, mainly consisting of safety critical instrumentation testing.Contribute towards equipment reliability improvements through failure mode effects analysis and RCA program.Participate in delivering site targets including EHS, Quality and OEE.Requirements
Completed a recognised Instrumentation/Electrical maintenance apprenticeship and attained NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.High level of general health and safety awareness appropriate to a chemical environment.Familiar with formal permit to work systems including lock-out tag-out procedures.Experience working on process plants, ideally in the Chemical or oil and gas industry.Experienced in using a computerised maintenance management system, such as SAP PM.Guidant Global is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this ..... full job details .....
