About this role:This role provides an opportunity to work at the forefront of small satellite technology and services, ideal for someone who enjoys working across a variety of subjects and creating innovative proposals. The role will report to the Director of Government Programmes with an opportunity to engage across different areas of the business. We are looking for a well-organised, enthusiastic individual who has excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to work proactively with a range of institutional stakeholders.The role will have occasional travel and we are open to hybrid working given the nature of the role.You will be core to our established Business Development team, playing a key role in our strategic plans to help bring Space down to Earth in line with our vision.Key Responsibilities:Institutional bid writing including technical, financial and programmatic elements of proposalsIdentification and assessment of available grant funding opportunities which are aligned to internal company roadmapsEngagement with internal and external stakeholdersAttendance and participation in key institutional events and conferencesSupport the wider team as requiredSkills required:Experience preparing institutional or grant funding applications, including relevant financial elementsFamiliarity with institutional funding landscapes and mechanismsUnderstanding of the satellite value chainAbility to understand technical concepts to sufficient level of detail and prepare appropriate applications for fundingAbility to work independently as well as effectively collaborate within a multicultural teamAbility to make good decisions under highly demanding, dynamic environmentAbility to organise self and prioritise workload in dynamic environment with tight deadlinesAbility to handle and progress on multiple projects in parallelCompetent IT skills including working experience of Office 365Proficient in English, both verbally and writtenNone listedABOUT AAC CLYDE SPACEAAC Clyde Space, a leading New Space company,specialises in small satellite technologies and services that enable businesses,governments,and educational organisations to access high-quality, timely data from space.This data has a vast range of applications, from weather forecasting to precision farming to environmental monitoring, and is essential to improving our quality of life on Earth.Our growing capabilities bring together three divisions:Space missions
