We are currently recruiting for a Security Installation Engineer to join a well-established business with strong growth plans. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team delivering high-quality installations across commercial, local authority and domestic sites.

Job Description:

The role involves the installation, commissioning and handover of intruder alarm systems, CCTV systems and access control systems across South Wales. You will work from technical drawings and specifications to ensure installations are completed to a high standard, on time and in line with industry regulations.

You will liaise with the operations manager and customers throughout projects, ensuring clear communication and professional service delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install intruder alarm systems, CCTV systems and access control systems
• Carry out system commissioning and ensure full functionality prior to handover
• Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant British Standards and company procedures
• Complete electronic job sheets and installation documentation accurately
• Liaise with customers on-site to explain system operation and provide handover demonstrations
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and represent the company professionally

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Security Installation Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
• Experience commissioning systems and handing over to end users
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to complete BS7858 Security Screening, Enhanced DBS and police check
