INSTALLATION COORDINATOR / MANAGER SURREY / SW LONDON
Up to -40K (Depending on Exp) + Overtime + 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holiday
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm / Monday - Friday
Our client a leading large format digital, display and signage company. They are looking for an Install Co-ordinator / Manager in the large format print sector who will need to oversee the end-to-end execution of graphics and signage projects. This individual will be required to bridge the gap between production and the physical site, managing install teams, scheduling and health and safety compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Scheduling & Resource Allocation:
- Logistics Management: Booking and dispatching in-house installers or external sub-contractors based on job requirements for UK & International work, managing deadlines alongside the production teams.
- Diary Management: Maintaining an up-to-date installation calendar to ensure multiple projects run simultaneously without resource conflicts, booking hotels and flights as required by each project.
- Briefs: Taking briefs of jobs in hand from project managers and sales staff and communicating this with the teams involved in each project.
2. Pre-Installation Preparation:
- Site Surveys & Briefs: Reviewing site measurements, taking part in pre-install meetings, and preparing detailed installation packs (visuals, maps, site contact details) for the crew.
- Health & Safety (RAMS): Drafting and updating comprehensive Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) and ensuring they are approved by the client/venue before work begins.
- Permits & Access: Securing required work permits, site passes, and security clearances for the installation crew.
- Purchasing: Audit company equipment and make sure that all teams are aware of tool requirements and replace or add as and when required.
3. On-Site Support & Quality Control:
- Troubleshooting: Acting as the primary point of contact for installers to resolve any on-site issues, delays, or emergency problem-solving.
- Snagging & Sign-off: Tracking the quality of completed jobs, managing any "snagging" (rectifying minor defects), and securing client sign-off upon completion.
- Quality Control: Onsite visits for quality checks are required alongside making sure the teams are following all the safety expectations of the company and client.
