Installation and Commissioning Engineer
The client are an established designer and manufacturer of bespoke test systems and applications for the automotive industry. They are seeking to recruit an Installations and Commissioning Engineer for their busy operations in Worcester. Salary on the role is up to 48k per annum. The role is Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and then Friday 8.30am to 1pm. Key responsibility of the roleThe Installation and Commissioning Engineer is responsible for the on-site installation, testing, commissioning and handover of systems and equipment to ensure they meet design specifications, safety standards, and customer requirements. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, design teams, and clients to deliver projects on time and to a high standard of quality. Responsibilities and dutiesInstall, configure, and commission equipment and systems according to engineering drawings, specifications, and project plansPerform pre-commissioning checks, functional testing, and performance verificationDiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioningEnsure all work complies with health, safety, environmental, and quality standardsLiaise with customers, contractors, and internal teams during site activitiesProduce commissioning reports, test documentation, and as-built recordsProvide technical support and training to customers and operators as requiredParticipate in factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT)Support ..... full job details .....
