Our client, Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, is seeking dedicated Part Time Inspection Operatives to join their team in Eastfield. Shift Pattern- Monday to Friday, 4-hour shifts:
-7:55 AM - 11:55 AM
-11:55 AM - 3.55 PM
About the Role:
As an Inspection Operative, your mission will be to carry out routine testing and inspection of products and components. You''ll play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive only the highest quality products. The role offers a competitive salary of -12.45 - -14.48 per hour, dependant on your experience. Here''s what you''ll be doing:
- Conduct thorough inspections of components to ensure conformity with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Manage incoming inspection and metrology activities, ensuring the safety of yourself and others in the working area.
- Develop and enhance standard inspection protocols to meet quality management standards.
- Qualify equipment systems through Gauge R&R.
- Utilise best available techniques and tools to optimise inspection methodologies.
- Collaborate with production and quality engineers to address any quality issues related to component metrology.
- Oversee the calibration programme for measurement equipment used within the plant.
What We''re Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Demonstrable interest in an engineering discipline.
Proficient in PC use, particularly with Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
Strong ability to work efficiently and accurately, meeting deadlines consistently.
Practical science or engineering skills are a plus.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, communication, and literacy skills.
High level of flexibility and dependability, with a strong motivation to learn.
A good record of attendance.
