This role combines inspections, audits, risk assessments, and guidance to maintain high safety and compliance standards across Council operations. You''ll work closely with the Town Clerk and senior management to support a safe and compliant working environment for all staff and members.Shift PatternPart-time: 20 hours per week ( 16,496.22 per annum)Field-based site visits required; office-based tasksOccasional weekend work may be requiredKey ResponsibilitiesConduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits across Council operationsEnsure compliance with health and safety legislation and internal policiesProvide guidance and support to the Town Clerk and Management Team on safety and compliance mattersDevelop and deliver training programs to ensure staff and members are up to date with legislationMaintain accurate records of inspections, audits, risk assessments, and reportsReview policies and procedures regularly, recommending updates as requiredSupport preparation of key reports for senior management and liaise with external ..... full job details .....
