This is great opportunity for someone who has 6 months+ telesales, appointment setting or inside sales experience
Overall Purpose of Role:
- Qualify inbound opportunities and pass onto field sales colleagues in line with policy.
- Build/Manage & Maintain an ongoing pipeline of prospective customers / call lists.
- Support DX field sales colleagues in generating revenue from new business customers.
- Support DX field sales colleagues in developing and implementing strategic tele-marketing plans.
Main Responsibilities:
- Make quality new prospect appointments for DX field sales colleagues across a range of spends and sectors
- Achieve & exceed targets & KPIs
- Manage your own pipeline of prospects to ensure a constant flow of new business meetings
- Work with line manager to develop and deliver targeted telemarketing campaigns
- Develop short, medium and long term plans to achieve KPIs
- Develop relationships with senior level contacts (internal and external)
- Attend scheduled sales meetings (internal).
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Experience within either Parcels /Pallets /Logistics/Supply Chain industry (Preferable not essential)
- Strong sales skills (Cold Calling, Prospecting, Profile Qualification, Basic Tele-Sales Techniques)
- Understanding of sales process and demonstration of world-class consistency, hunger and determination
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Problem solving abilities / ability to facilitate discussions
- Microsoft skills i.e. Excel, Word, Email, PowerPoint (Basic to Intermediate level)
