Inside IR35 - 2nd / 3rd line IT Engineer
About the Role We are seeking a highly capable Interim IT Support Specialist to provide immediate support across a complex, hybrid IT environment. This is a hands-on contract role requiring a strong 2nd/3rd line engineer who can quickly embed into the team and add value from day one. You will play a key role in stabilising and supporting the IT estate, resolving escalated technical issues, and contributing to ongoing infrastructure and cyber security improvements. This is a fast-paced environment where your ability to prioritise, troubleshoot and deliver will be critical. Key Responsibilities Provide 2nd and 3rd line support across infrastructure, systems, and end-user environments Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues, driving resolution with minimal supervision Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, Entra ID) Support Active Directory, Group Policy, and core Windows Server environments Work across a hybrid infrastructure (on-premise and cloud) Respond to and manage cyber security incidents, alerts and vulnerabilities Support patching, remediation and security hardening activities Troubleshoot networking issues (VPNs, firewalls, connectivity) Support endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM or equivalent) Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers Contribute to ongoing IT projects, upgrades and improvement initiatives About You Proven experience operating at 2nd/3rd line level within complex ..... full job details .....
