Job Description: Plastic Injection Moulding Team Leader Location: West Bromwich Salary: £16.51 per hour + 20% shift allowance (£19.81 per hour including shift allowance) Hours: Rotating shifts 6:00am 2:00pm / 2:00pm 10:00pm Friday Back Shift: 2:00pm 8:00pm Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plastic Injection Moulding Team Leader to join an established manufacturing business based in West Bromwich. This is a hands-on Team Leader position, overseeing a team of approximately 6 operatives while remaining actively involved in the production process. The successful candidate will have a strong background in plastic injection moulding, setting and processing, with experience working on Arburg machines highly desirable. The main focus of the role is to lead and support the production team, ensuring injection moulding machinery is running efficiently, product quality is maintained, downtime is minimised and production targets are achieved. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise and support a team of around 6 production operatives Set up, start up and optimise plastic injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain consistent product quality Carry out tool, colour and other machine changes safely and efficiently Troubleshoot machine and processing issues to minimise downtime Monitor production performance and ensure targets and delivery requirements are achieved Oversee ..... full job details .....
