Injection Moulding Shift Manager

A leading plastics manufacturing business, providing a range of specialist engineering services, is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician / Shift Manager to join their team. Monday - Thursday 10-hour shiftsSalary dependent on experience As the senior member of staff on site during the shift, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Moulding Division, overseeing people, production, problem-solving and process efficiency. The role will also involve hands-on Injection Moulding Technician duties, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently throughout the shift. As an Injection Moulding Technician / Shift Manager, your duties will include:Management of the mouldshop and packaging/assembly teamsSetting up production runs to works orders across all moulding machines, ensuring the agreed production schedule is achieved with a strong focus on quality, efficiency and a ''right first time'' approachTool changing and setting mould tools in machinesConducting tool trials, process optimisation and effective fault finding / troubleshootingMonitoring production quality and identifying and reporting any quality concerns at the earliest opportunitySupporting and developing team members to maintain high standards of performance, quality and efficiency To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Technician / Shift Manager, the ideal candidate will:Have extensive knowledge and experience of plastic injection moulding, including processing, ..... full job details .....
