Reporting day-to-day into a technical supervisor, you will be responsible for operating (''setting'') the specified Injection Moulding machines as per the needs of the production schedule. The role will involve the following key aspects: - Tool and machine settingCarry out tool changes and set machine process using best practice and in accordance with health and safety proceduresSupport trials of new tools to achieve optimum performance Production efficienciesProvide hands on process supportEnsure efficient tool changesMinimise machine downtimeOptimise setting conditionsMinimise scrap and other material wastageEnsure all production recording documents are completed as necessary Quality controlObtain ''first and last off'' approval samplesMaintain quality throughout production runLiaise with management and operators to identify and categorise production issues Machine and tool maintenanceResponsible for care and low-level maintenance of both machines and tools (to agreed limits)Liaise with appropriate support staff to arrange advanced level...
